CLUB ACTIVITIES
The
club endeavours to achieve the above listed aims and objectives by carrying out
the following activities:
1.
Research and collation of data
on tourist attraction within Nigeria
to provide adequate information for people wishing to tour the country.
2.
Organization of lectures,
seminars, conferences etc to educate people on tourism.
3.
Organization of tours and
adventurous trips to tourist attraction and places of interest for members.
4.
Organization of physical body
fitness training through aerobics, swimming, and some other various sporting
activities like table-tennis, badminton etc.
5.
Organization of fishing
expedition, boat rides, camping expedition and picnics for club members. Visits
to industries and historical monuments and relics (e.g. the old Slave markets) by members of the club.
6.
Organisation of an annual
dinner, and also parties to mark various occasions for members of the club.
7.
Encouraging and supporting
members in their various carrier prospects such as modelling, pageantry, music,
acting etc.
8.
Organisation of trips for
members of the club to attend various festivals & carnivals of interest
within & outside Nigeria.
9.
Facilitation of travelling
arrangements for members wishing to visit places of interest within and outside
the country.
10.
Assistance in procurement of
international passport for members of the club.
11.
Assistance in procurement of
subsidized air-tickets for members of the club wishing to visit places of
interest.
12.
Assistance of members on
vacation in procuring reasonable accommodation in various parts of the country
during their trip.
MODELLING
De’Vision Tourist and Culture Club
encourages and train members who have flare for modelling such as Runway
professional and photography modelling .
Some of our members that are runway
models have also taken part in various fashion shows both within and outside the
country e.g. Nigeria Hair show in Lagos, Commonwealth Tourism and Culture,
Ministers Conference’s Fashion show etc. 
Photography such as calendar, press, poster jobs and professional
modelling are not left out. For members who wish to take up modelling either as
a part time or full time career, the club endeavours to take them up on the run
coaching.
SPORTS
The club
encourages members to take part in sporting activities; this is aimed at making
them physically fit and mentally alert. Therefore, competitions in different
sports like Badminton, Swimming, Volleyball, Basketball, Ping-pong comes up
from time to time among the members.
GYM /AEROBICS
Health is wealth,
as we all know, so to keep members healthy, the club house is equipped with
standard body fitness equipment with an instructor for body building exercise
for the male and a general aerobics classes for all members.
